One Green-‘Being an Individual’
We were inspired by Alberto Giacometti’s
sculptures. Giacometti was a Swiss sculptor.
In pairs, we planned what our sculptures would
look like. Each of the children made an individual pose while the other child
created the sculpture out of pipe cleaners.

We stapled their sculpture to a piece of square
cardboard.
Then the children used tiny pieces of papier mache
to cover their design.
After they had dried the children painted them in
silver.
We loved that they all looked different!
