We began
by cutting newspaper into strips about 15cm wide. We dipped the strips in water
that had glue mixed in, and let them soak for a few minutes then removed them
from the water and let them drip.
Then, we
started from one corner, begin twisting the strips tightly.
We had to
do this 15 times to make enough to make one tree. We put the strips into a
bundle and tied it together, then began arranging the roots and branches in
place. Then we had to wait until they dried. Drying took a good 48 hours. After they dried, we just glued them
together.
Then it
was time to start applying the leaves. We lightly flattened paper rolls and cut
them into 1cm strips. We stuck the leaves to the branches in a random pattern,
making sure it looked like a tree.
